1. Overview

Voxlyn is an iPhone app for live speech transcription and translation. The app is designed to minimize data collection and to avoid sending conversation content to our own servers.

2. Data We Collect

We do not collect, sell, or share personal data, voice recordings, transcripts, translations, contacts, or analytics data through our own backend services.

Conversation content remains on your device unless you choose to share or export it using iOS system features.

3. Microphone and Speech Recognition

Voxlyn requests microphone access so it can capture speech while you start a live session. Voxlyn may also request speech recognition access so iOS can convert speech into text.

4. Translation and Language Packs

Voxlyn uses Apple system capabilities for speech and translation when they are available on your device. Some language pairs require Apple language packs or speech resources to be downloaded before offline translation can work.

If you download language resources, your device may connect to Apple to retrieve those files. Voxlyn does not receive or store those download requests on a Voxlyn server.

5. Local Storage

Voxlyn may store app settings, language choices, and conversation history locally on your device. You can remove local history in the app where available, and uninstalling Voxlyn removes its app container subject to iOS behavior.

6. Third-Party Services

Voxlyn does not operate a customer data backend. Apple platform services may process technical information necessary to provide speech recognition, translation, language-pack downloads, App Store distribution, diagnostics, and operating-system services.

7. Children's Privacy

Voxlyn is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own services.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as Voxlyn changes. The effective date above shows when this page was last updated.
